What this site is
DocData (docdata.io) is a searchable reference of physicians' professional backgrounds: education, training, specialties, affiliations and office locations. The profiles are compiled from the physicians' own publicly available institutional profile pages.
Information we collect from you
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address or any other personal details. Searches and filters run entirely in your browser; your search terms are not sent to our servers.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes basic technical information with each request (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy. We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics or marketing cookies.
Data stored on your device
To make searching fast, the directory data is saved in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) so it does not need to be downloaded again on your next visit. This data stays on your device and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data for docdata.io.
Information about physicians
Physician profiles contain professional information published by their institutions, such as name, credentials, specialties, education and training history, board certifications, languages, accepted insurance and practice locations. We do not publish private contact details, patient information or anything that is not already publicly available. Physicians who would like a profile corrected or removed can contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly.
Third-party links
Profiles link to the physician's institutional page and, where available, their photograph on the institution's servers. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
